Not the person who regards oneself in arrogance as righteous or better than others.

But the person who finds righteousness by humbly relying on the grace of the Lord, ready to give up anything that hinders God’s blessing to unfold.

Feeling superior?

A quarrel with another person may easily stir in us emotions of feeling superior over the other person. We want to hit back and win the upper hand.

By contrast, Jesus gave the example of humility, grace, healing and blessing, e.g. by riding on a simple donkey rather than on a majestic horse.
